  > Recommendations when going climbing

  • It is important to start with professionals or with other experienced people.
  • It is essential to use homologated material and to ensure that it is in top condition of maintenance. It must be borne in mind that, although it may be good quality, equipment grows old and may cease to be safe. 
  • Always bear in mind the information given on the signs and panels on the climbing routes.

MATERIAL (ESSENTIAL MINIMUM FOR GOING CLIMBING)

  • Dynamic rope of diameter and length suited to the activity and the route you are intending to take. 
  • Helmet
  • Climbing boots 
  • Express tapes with the corresponding carabiners
  • Assurance device (tube, Logic, Grigri, brake plate, etc.)
  • HMS carabiner, if necessary for assurance with dynamic knot 
  • Belt or harness
