When you finish, you can come down by the line of rappels (longest rappel: 25 m) or by the route of El Grau (following the yellow markers).

To do this route it is compulsory to have classic climbing equipment (helmet, rope, express tapes, safety device, HMS carabiners, descender) duly homologated, as well as suitable footwear, or safety devices for via ferrata (helmet, harness, device with anchorage buckles, dissipator and K safety carabiners; all this equipment must be homologated) and suitable footwear.

  • You need to have all the material and personal equipment for the particular form of exercise (helmet, harness, device with anchorage buckles, dissipator and K safety carabiners; all this equipment must be homologated) and suitable footwear 
  • Do not attempt this itinerary if you have no experience of mountains. 
  • Before starting on the via, check on the weather conditions.
  • Keep yourself linked to the safety cable as a matter of routine. 
  • Avoid going in groups and try to ensure that you are the only person between two anchorage points. 
  • Never leave the marked itinerary.
  • Beginners are recommended to obtain the services of a guide or monitor.
  • Except in the case of providing help in the event of accidents, do not use the fixed elements of the via ferrata (cables, footrests, chains, etc.) for anything else than the classical progress in routes of this type. 
  • It is absolutely prohibited to use zip-lines, hoists and to rappel down. 
The Commune of Canillo accepts no responsibility for any incident which may result from the misuse of the via ferrata. The user, before starting, must accept that he does so under his own civil, criminal and personal responsibility and to third parties, with respect to falls, loose rock or other incidents. Also, this via must always be attempted taking into account the technical and physical capacities of each user.
