You can start from two different points: from Els Plans or from Canillo, taking the Coll d’Ordino road. In this route, the Canillo landscapes show a relief marked by the action of glaciers, which in the mid-Quaternary age could attain a thickness of 400 metres, as can be seen at the Rock of Quer. The route is dominated by woods of black pine and birch. In the higher parts of the parish there are alpine meadows and in the lower parts of the neighbourhood, hay meadows. Along the route there are dry stone walls typical of Andorra, with laburnums and juniper bushes. The woods of black pine are present all along the way.
